Join us for the season’s premiere Spin Event, Pedal for PAL  at Cyclepathic, Ottawa’s newest cycling studio.  Bring your kids! Anyone over 5′ tall can register. Pedal for PAL is designed to encourage current and prospective riders to adopt a healthier lifestyle and gives indoor cyclists the opportunity to fundraise in support of animal wellness in South East Asia.

DISTANCE COMPETITION

Pit yourself against some of the top cyclists in Ottawa! After a 10 minute warmup period, everyone gets 30 minutes to rack up the kms.

  • Team Competition: Greatest combined distance over 4 time slots for 2-4 individuals (teams of less than 4 must still complete 4 time slots).
  • Individual Competition: Greatest distance achieved over one time slot (male and female categories).
  • 10:00 Distance Competition guest emcee: Chris Mullington
  • You can take part in the distance competition in any other time slot (11:00, 12:00, or 1:00).

SPIN

Get an awesome workout courtesy of some highly experienced spinning instructors on the best spin bikes available, the CycleOps 300 Pro. Sign up for one or both spin classes.

  • You can register as an individual or as a team.
  • Eligible for fundraising and team spirit prizes.
  • Live DJ dropping the beats to keep you motivated!

TEAM REGISTRATION: To register your team for the distance competition or spin classes, enter the team name in the specified location when purchasing your ticket.



*Registration will be open on the day of the event (Feb. 5, 2011) but the fee will increase to $30

*Pedal options are Look Delta (not Keo), SPD and toe straps (no cleats).
